Have you ever tried to teach a friend something you're really good at? Like a sport or an instrument? Sometimes, you get frustrated and even lose your patience. You may even find it challenging to explain or teach something in a clear way that your friend will understand. It can be tough to stay patient with someone while they learn something new or pick up a new skill.
When you're growing in your faith, it's important to have people in your life who can be patient with you and love you as you navigate new waters. There will be plenty of times where you'll make mistakes or could have communicated something in a better way, but friends who genuinely love you and are looking out for you don't keep count of those mistakes. They always give you the benefit of the doubt and show love by being patient with you.
Think of how your friends have loved you well through your recent growth.
