Great Adventurers (Week 6)Sample

Day Three - Changed for good
Welcome to our Great Adventurers Devotional - we are so excited to have you following along with us as we journey and look at some of the Great Adventurers in the Bible.
Jesus knew exactly where to find Zacchaeus!
READ:
A Short Man in the Beginners Bible (pages 413-417) or in Luke 19:1-10.
Jesus stopped at the tree where Zacchaeus was sitting and called him down.
He said, ‘Zacchaeus, come down! I want to go to your house!’
Zacchaeus was so excited he quickly scrambled down the tree!!
Jesus always knows where we are, His Holy Spirit is always with us.
Jesus always wants to spend time with us, He loves it when we do this with a happy heart.
ASK:
How do you spend time with Jesus?
Jesus wants to spend time with you in the same way he wanted to just spend time with Zacchaeus.
Spend some time with Jesus today, get creative with how you do this.
Maybe ask your grownup for ideas about how you can all do this together?
Don’t forget to ask your grownup to send us photos of you doing this to @freedomkidsglobal
REMEMBER:
‘Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”’ (Matthew 19:26)
SAY:
I’m an adventurer,
I am bold, I am strong with the word of the Lord,
I will follow wherever you lead.
I won’t stop, I’ve been set free.
In Jesus name, Amen!

About this Plan

In the Bible, we see that through ‘Great Adventurers’ God has changed the world around them for good. God can take the seemingly bad things and turn them for good. We will follow in the footsteps of these ‘Great Adventurers’ and see how God, through their boldness, changed the world around them! This week we’re looking at the story of Zaccaeus and our memory verse in Matthew 19:26.
