To Live in the Will of God, We Will Experience Suffering

• How are we to live on this side of heaven?
• The will of God is opposite of what?
• How will being in the will of God create suffering in our life?
• What of our flesh can we not give in to?
• When will we have ceased from sin? Can that happen on this side of heaven? Why or why not?
• What type of thinking do we need to arm ourselves with? 

Ask the Lord to renew your mind when it comes to suffering for the sake of holiness and obedience to Him. Ask Him to continue to purge sin out of your life so that you aren’t led by your human passions but you are led to do the will of God. Invite the Holy Spirit to empower you where you know your fleshly passions are strong to give you the strength to say “no” to them and “yes” to God’s will.
