The Will of God: Part 3Sample

God's Will for Us is to be Gracious to Others, Even When We Feel We Have Nothing Left to Give
- God’s will is that we give ourselves first to __________ and then to _________. What might that look like to give ourselves to God first?
- How can He be a priority over our own agendas, or even caring for the immediate needs of the people around us?
- What were the attitudes of the people of the church of Macedonia when they gave themselves to the Lord first?
- Note each time you read the word “grace” in this passage. What do you learn about it?
- How is God’s will connected to giving grace?
Confess if you have not been making God the true Lord of your life by making Him your first priority. Ask God to show you how you can give grace to others in a way that helps them become more like Him. Ask the Lord to help you grasp His grace in a deeper way so that in even severe affliction you can have abundant joy and be generous to others in need. Take time to be still and listen for His responses to these prayers. Let Him lavish His love and grace on you so that you can have hope, joy and a generous heart as you go through the day.
