The Will of God: Part 3Sample

Trust God in Planning Ahead and Letting Go
- What plans have you made for today or tomorrow, or next week or next month, that would be very hard to learn that they are canceled?
- If you are a natural “planner”, then you might experience stress or anxiety when plans do not work out. How can this passage change how to look at the plans you make? How can this help you emotionally when things don’t go as expected?
- If you are more of a “go with the flow” sort of person, how intentional are you with realizing your life is “a mist”? What areas do you need to plan more so that your life doesn’t waste away?
- We can know God’s will is for us to do what is right. Other decisions we make may not be “right or wrong” but neutral choices. God’s will is always for us to do what is right. How can that help us when we are seeking “God’s will” on what to do or where to go?
Confess to the Lord whichever side you tend to fall on: a planner who has a hard time being flexible, or a go-with-the-flow person, who has a hard time being intentional and ask Him to help you to follow His leading moment by moment. Take time daily to pray through your day, your plans and surrender them to the Lord to “do as He wills”. Then ask Him if there is anything intentional He wants you to do that day to make that day matter.
