Do What God Wants, Not What You Think Would Be the Most Impactful

• What does “Lord” mean?
• Why is it that some will call Jesus “Lord” but will not be allowed to enter heaven? How are they to live out their belief that Jesus is Lord?
• These people thought that doing things “in the name” of Jesus was enough for God’s approval, but Jesus said they were workers of lawlessness. What do you think the disconnect was?
• Is the will of the Father to “do” or to “become”? Or is it both according to this passage? 

Is Jesus Lord of your life? Really? Ask God to reveal to you if there are areas that He is not Lord. Repent of those areas. Examine your life and make sure you are not just “doing things” in His name, but that you know Him, are interacting with Him and are proactive in continuing to become more like Him.
