The Will of God: Part 2Sample

God Will Answer Prayers That Pertain To Accomplishing His Will
- Who is John writing to in this passage?
- What can we know for sure that we have?
- Now that you better know what “his will” is (our sanctification, becoming holy), how do you understand this verse differently? Is there hope that we can change?
- Do you see the parallel that people often question their salvation because they still wrestle with sin? This verse is to encourage us that we can ask God to change us and He will! What area of your life would you like to see changed, reformed, renewed before you get to heaven?
- How have people misused this verse in the past?
Thank God that we may know that we have eternal life if we believe Jesus is the Son of God. What do you want to ask God to help you overcome today? Obedience and pursuing holiness happens moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day. Be confident that He will change you.
