The Will of God: Part 1Sample

Doing God's Will Requires Us To Be Filled With the Spirit Continually
- If we don’t understand the will of the Lord, what are we?
- If we are wise, what will we be looking carefully at?
- Why do you think being filled with the Spirit is contrasted with being drunk?
- How are they opposites? How are they similar?
- How does being filled with the Spirit help us to accomplish the Lord’s will?
- What will our interactions with others look like when we are filled with the Spirit?
Take time to evaluate with the Lord how you are spending your time. What are you doing each day? Are you revering Christ in all that you are doing and saying? How can you focus on being filled with the Spirit more so that you can live a life more pleasing to Him? Ask God to open your eyes to the evil around you and to flee from it. Ask Him to reveal to you how to walk in your various circumstances throughout the day. Ask the Spirit to empower you to be an encouragement to others, to be praising the Lord and giving thanks throughout the day.
