The Will of God: Part 1Sample

Doing the will of God requires faith (trust in what God is requiring is best for you).
- What are we to remain confident in?
- What is the reward? What was promised to us?
- What pleases the Lord?
- Why is it important that we continue to endure?
- What will happen if we shrink back due to our lack of faith?
- What do we need to have faith in in order to do the will of God?
Sometimes our faith may feel weak. We can ask God to increase our faith and to help us to persevere. Where we feel ready to give up in areas of obedience or trust or faith, we can ask Him to give us the confidence we need in Him to persevere and do the right thing. Take time to acknowledge to God where you feel weak and ask for Him to empower you by His Spirit to be strengthen in your spirit. Ask Him to remind you of the eternal perspective of Jesus saying, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
