The Will of God: Part 1Sample

Do God's Will Over Other's Expectations of Us
- What was Jesus doing when His mother and brothers came?
- Where did His mother and brothers stay and what did they want?
- Why do you think Jesus didn’t go to them? Was He being disrespectful to his family Why or why not?
- Why did He see the crowd as His family over His own blood relatives?
- What bonds people to Jesus as family?
- Are you sitting at Jesus’ feet listening to His words (by being in the Word) or do you just come to Him when you need something and call for Him to come to you?
To do His will, you must take time to sit at His feet and listen for Him to speak to you. You are His child. Let Him pour His love and grace and favor over you. Confess if you have only been going to Him when you need something and not to just be with Him in His presence. Thank Him for being in the family of God and the incredible privilege that is! (Look at Ephesians 1 if you want to see what has been given to you!)
