Fear Busters (Week 7)Sample

Day Four - I Can Trust Jesus
Hello mini Fear Busters! We hope you're enjoying following our journey with the Fear Busters! We are on such an exciting journey with the Fear Busters! We have learnt so much about how to overcome our fears. Tell us what your favourite part has been so far.
Welcome to the final week of our Fear Busters devotional series! Remember you can watch this week's episode on YouTube! Today we are learning that I can trust Jesus.
READ:
‘The Lost Sheep’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 391-396) or in Matthew 18:10-14.
Can you remember in our story Jesus is telling the people about how a shepherd looks after his sheep?
- He watches over them and makes sure they have plenty of food and drink.
- He counts them all to make sure they are all there.
- If one is lost the shepherd will go and look for it.
- The shepherd does not give up.
Jesus tells the people and us, that God is our good shepherd. He loves us so much and just like the shepherd loves his sheep, we can trust Him to look after us.
ASK:
Can you think of a way to say thank you to God or to someone that looks after you?
We would love to see what you get up to! Remember to ask your adult to take a photo or video, then upload and tag us on Facebook or Instagram!
REMEMBER:
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy good food and sweet drinks. Send some to people who have none. Today is a holy day to the Lord. Don’t be sad. The joy of the Lord will make you strong.” (Nehemiah 8:10 ICB)
We can trust Jesus to look after us and to give us everything that we need!
SAY - FEARBUSTER PRAYER:
You are bigger than my fears, you wipe away my tears. I have a voice to pray, you teach me what to say. I am brave because of you. This sickness just won't do. We tell it now to QUIT! We've had enough of it.
