Blessing For Todayគំរូ

Stop! Listen!
This is a well-known scripture portion, wherein Jesus after His resurrection, walks along with two of His disciples to a small town called Emmaus. These two disciples were so worried about the things that had happened in the recent days and were grieving. It was at this time that Jesus joined them. But unfortunately, they could not recognize that He was Jesus. Even though He spoke with them from the scriptures, but their eyes were restrained. Do you know why? They failed to see the face of Jesus and were worrying and murmuring about what had happened.
Dear friend, many times you too will hear the word of God. Sometimes, Jesus Himself talks to you but like these disciples you are unable to hear Him and see Him. You don’t realize that Jesus is right next to you because you keep mentioning your worries all the time. Don’t you know that the Lord feeds the birds of the air? When He is concerned about them, how much more will He be concerned about you! So put an end to your murmuring and realize that Jesus is always walking with you. Start hearing His voice. Draw closer to Him!
Prayer
“Lord God, I thank You for speaking to me through Your word. The sorrows of this world engulfed my heart to such an extent that I could not hear Your voice. Forgive me Lord. Heal my heart, let my ears be opened to Your voice. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Give me the grace to draw closer to You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
‘If Jesus walks with you today, He will walk with you tomorrow’

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
