Precious Blood 

Taj Mahal at Agra, India, is one of the wonders of the world, which was built by Shah Jahan. It is the world’s most beautiful monument built by him in memory of his wife Mumtaz, whom he loved dearly. It took 22 years to complete it. After he built the monument that entombed his wife, he gazed at it, day and night. His son saw this and said, “My father is obsessed with the monument and is not worried about the kingdom.” So he imprisoned Shah Jahan and threw him in the prison. It was then that Shah Jahan cried to his son saying, “Son, do whatever you want with me, but do not separate me from Taj Mahal for my heart lies there.” History says that the love of Shah Jahan for his wife was endless and he was staring at the Taj Mahal till his last moment. 

My friend, when a man’s love can be this strong, how much more is the love of the Father who sacrificed His only Son as a ransom to purchase you. Yes, you are His temple and He wishes to dwell in you. Jesus purchased you with His own blood. He says, “You are mine. I will never leave you. You were bought with a precious price that no one before me or after me can give to purchase you. I have loved you so much.” So will you glorify God through every act of yours? Dwell with Jesus. 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, how great is Your love towards me that You purchased me with Your own blood. I will glorify Your name wherever I go. Father, come dwell in me and take me as Your own. Use me as Your instrument to build Your kingdom in the world. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. This I ask in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
