Safe Journey 

A man of God once had to pass through the valley of the shadow of death. He cried out to the Lord in anguish, “Lord, I have been faithful to You all these years in Your ministry. Why should I walk through these afflictions all the time?” Then the Lord showed him a vision. In the vision, this servant of God was walking on a wide long road that ended abruptly; after that, there was a valley and then the road continued on the other side. While the servant of God stood and was speculating near the valley as to how to cross it, a big hand came down and he heard a voice commanding him to step on the hand. He did so joyfully. Then the hand lifted him up and helped him to cross the valley; while he was crossing the valley, some dark figures lurking in the valley jumped up high to pull down this man of God. But this loving hand of God safely placed him on the other side of the valley where the road continued. The same voice again instructed the man to proceed on his journey without turning back. Thus, he understood how God rescued him from the clutches of the dark figures in the valley of death. 

My friend, God says “fear not” many times in the Bible. Yes, the Lord will help you and uphold you with His righteous right hand. The God who gave you this word of promise will protect you and will be a wall of fire around you. 

Prayer

“Lord God, You are all powerful and You are the protector of Your children. Lord I believe You will carry me even when I walk through the valley of shadow of death. I bind every evil spirit that brings forth fear in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
