Watchful Eyes 

Many years ago the former Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru visited the Neyveli Lignite Corporation in Tamil Nadu. The officers of the Corporation were introduced to him one by one and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru shook hands with each one of them. Suddenly, he looked at a particular person and recognised that he was related to him. He asked him, “What are you doing here?” He said, “Sir! I am a Junior Engineer here.” Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru looked at him and asked, “What? Are you still a Junior Engineer?” Having said that, he looked at the General Manager and hastily walked away from that spot. The following day, the Junior Engineer was promoted as the Executive Engineer. 

My beloved, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was just a human being. But, when his eyes fell on his relative, the favour he showed him promoted him in his workspot. Your heavenly Father is watching over you constantly. How much more will He lift you up! Are you still living in debts? Diseases? Problems in the family? Troubled by evil spirits? Do not be troubled. The Lord’s eyes are watching you. Because of His favour, all your problems will simply vanish without trace. Goodness and mercy will surely follow you.

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You for Your eyes are always on me. When an ordinary person on earth can lift a person from their lowly position, You, the heavenly Father can do much more for me. Please keep Your eyes on me to bless me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
