Royal Treatment! 

A life with meaning, riches and honour – Is this what you seek? Follow righteousness and mercy. That’s the ladder to gain honour. After I got married, my wife and I had been to Libya. That was our first overseas trip after our marriage. We were about to get down from the aircraft. Security personnel were standing majestically in their black uniform with rifles in their hands. We were really scared that they might shoot us. Suddenly, a senior official came straight to us and asked, “Are you the Dhinakarans?” We replied in the affirmative. Then he said, “Please follow me. The Prime Minister informed us about your visit. He has asked us to treat you as State Guests.” Then the security personnel went before us and we followed them. Wherever we went, we were introduced as, “The Guests of the Indian Embassy”. We were given a royal treatment. We travelled in a car belonging to the Indian Embassy. 

This was how God honoured us as we went there to preach His word. Dear friend, this royal treatment followed us, as we followed righteousness. Our righteousness is Jesus. Is He not your righteousness too? Yes, as a child of God, you are a righteous person. Surely honour will follow you all the days of your life. You will not be ashamed. Honour belongs to you. 

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, You are my righteousness. My life is hidden in You. My honour comes from You. I cast out every shame and dishonour that I allowed to be part of my life. Help me to receive due honour in every place where I was put to shame. Thank You for granting this blessing. Amen.”
