The Blood

Once, a young man wrote a letter to my father with his own blood. He wrote, “I am a sinner. I have committed many sins. Save me Uncle. I feel I must commit suicide. My sins are hounding me.” Yes! Sin is terrible. It made him inflict pain upon himself and write with his blood. What a pity! Those who fall into temptation do not want to continue in their sins. Many try to come out of it on their own. They try to punish themselves like this young man, in various ways. But the only propitiation for sins is the blood of Jesus Christ.

In our crusade at Hyderabad, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, I said, “Regi, you are living in sin. Tonight the Holy Spirit is coming upon you. Addictions to sinful habits are destroying the peace in your life. The Spirit of God is transforming you now.” After prayer, Regi came to dais. He said, “I was addicted to sinful habits for 12 years. Brother’s message pierced my heart. God’s power touched me. Now, I am a new creation.”

Beloved, you are saved by grace and not by your good works. Jesus’ blood is the only propitiation for sins. He bore the sin of the whole world on the cross and purchased you with His precious blood. Today, pray for someone who is in this bondage of self-inflicted pain to come into salvation. Let your light shine before others.

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You for sending Your only begotten Son Jesus as the propitiation for the sins of this world. I thank You for leading me into the light of salvation. I pray for those who are under the bondage of self-inflicted pain. Open their hearts and minds to know Your love. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.”

Blessing For Today

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work.  We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
