A fresh Rose
Each day is a new beginning to write a new chapter in your life. Every day is a gift from God which is accompanied by God’s mercies.
Our former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru used to get up early in the morning. He would dress up neatly and go to the rose garden in his house. He had a wonderful gardener who understood his taste. Pandit Nehru would ask the gardener, “Are you ready?” and he would reply, “Yes Master”. They would stroll through the garden, and the gardener would then pluck out the best rose from the bush and give it to Pandit Nehru. He would wear that rose on his coat the whole day.
Beloved, like this gardener, God too has a rose for you every day. Do you know what it is? It is His mercy that is yours each day. His mercies are new every morning. Just like a fresh rose, He loves to shower you with new mercies for that day. Receive His new mercies. Enter this day with His new mercies.
Prayer
“Loving Heavenly Father, I thank You for this new day. I thank You for Your promise that assures that You will fill every day with new mercies. I receive Your new mercies by faith for today. May Your goodness follow me throughout this day. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
