Thy Will be Done

In Gethsemane, Jesus was in the peak of agony. There was none in this world who could understand Him. Though He was God, He was fully man too when He walked on this earth. He understood what was going to happen to Him. His heart was full of burden. Though He submitted to God’s will, when the time came for its fulfillment, He even prayed for the cup to be removed from Him. But, after he prayed, an angel came and strengthened Him. At last, salvation for mankind was fulfilled perfectly.

My dear friend, is this your condition? Do you lament, “Why is this happening to me though I have surrendered myself to do God’s will?” Are you bewildered, thinking whether you are in the will of God? The cup of discouragements and frustrations may dishearten you to the extent of saying, “Enough Lord. I can’t bear this anymore.” At such times, offer this prayer like Jesus – “Father, Thy will be done.” Then, you will receive special strength and revelation from heaven.

You will rise with wings like an eagle and fly high. ‘His will’ will be fulfilled in your life perfectly. All your anxieties will come to an end. Be of good cheer.

Prayer

“Loving Father, I am blessed perfectly through Jesus work on the cross. Father, I bring my cup of discouragements, worries and frustrations to You. Even now, send Your angels to serve me and fill me with divine strength. Let Thy will be done. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.”

‘Your cup of agony will turn into a cup of joy’

Blessing For Today

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work.  We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
