Blessing For Todayគំរូ

One Thing
A boatman was once carrying a learned man across a river. The professor asked the boatman, “Can you read or write?” The boatman replied, “No Sir.” The professor said, “Oh! You have lost 20% of your life!” A little later, the professor asked again, “Do you know music?” The boatman replied, “No Sir. I do not know any music, except the sound made by the fish.” The professor now said, “Oh! You have lost another 20% of your life!” A little later, a strong wind blew and waves tossed the boat. The boatman asked, “Sir, do you know swimming?” “No” came the reply. The boatman said, “Sir, you are going to lose 100% of your life!”
Today, many are in the same plight. They are very learned and become experts in many fields. But, they are devoid of the vital knowledge that will save their lives from peril. This is one of the devil’s strategies to endanger your life. In today’s Bible reading portion, we see Jesus appreciating Mary as she sat at His feet and listened to His word keenly. Moreover, He says that she has chosen ‘the good part’. My beloved, the most vital thing which is needed to live a victorious life is to ‘sit at His feet’ and listen to Him. Make this your choice for a lifetime which will fill you with untold blessings and protection.
Prayer
“Loving Father, I plead with You to remove all the distractions of my mind and help me to focus on the right thing, every moment in my life. Like Mary, I too choose to sit at Your feet and spend time with Your word. May Your word cleanse me, edify me, bless me and protect me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
‘When you tarry at God’s feet, He will do His best for you’

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
