Tongue is a Tree of Life 

The tongue has no bones, but is strong enough to break the heart. So, dip your tongue in a bowl of wisdom before you speak. There was a senior bank official who was posted in a particular branch. There, he often saw an official hitting his head forcefully on a wall due to severe headache. When he enquired about it, other workers said that he had been suffering like this for many years. Moreover, they said that his personal problems and the harsh treatment meted out to him by the earlier officials was the reason for the ailment. This new senior official went to him and said, “I will take care of you. Do not worry.” Yes, life flowed through those words and the headache vanished without trace. When the bank inspectors came and checked the records, they were amazed to see the way in which all the records were maintained. They wondered how the staff performed so well under this official. One enquiry, they all said in unison, “This Sir is God for us.” 

Beloved, people want to have an encounter with God. You are created in God’s image to be like Him. Carry Jesus and diffuse His fragrance wherever you go. Inject LIFE through your words and deeds. Someone is in agony and longing for emotional support. Get ready to infuse life, today. Wherever you are, make someone happy with sweet words and deeds. It will remove the foul odour out of their lives. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You because You dwell in me. Make my tongue a tree of life. Help me to infuse Your life into other’s situations. Let my words and deeds bring healing, deliverance and restoration into their lives. Lead me to some needy person today. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”
