Blessing For Todayគំរូ

Safe Zone
In the Biblical times, God told Joshua to build cities of refuge where the life of the accused will not be put to risk by the arbitrary actions of the avenger of blood. The accused was taken care of in the city of refuge where he had sought refuge. The refugee is never punished in that place. Even today, there are some countries which gives refuge!
Many years ago, a businessman operated against his country’s laws and cheated the government of many crores of rupees. He fled to the Dominican Republic as a refugee. When a person flees to this particular place, he or she is protected from the laws of the world. No government can take action against them. He or she cannot be arrested or punished. But, one day when he went to London, the INTERPOL (International Criminal Police Organization) nabbed him.
Cities of refuge reflect the heart of God, for the human race. Yes, cities of refuge were established as a safe haven for people who had done something wrong knowingly or unknowingly, even in ancient times. For every hurting heart, the “city of refuge” is not a place but a Person – He is the God who loves you with an everlasting, unconditional love. In your failures, wrong doings and loss, Jesus is your safe refuge. Do not hesitate to run to Him at any time.
Prayer
“Loving Father, I thank You for being my city of refuge at all times. Thank You for forgiving me and providing all my needs at all times. Help me to forgive others. I choose not to run away from you at any time. You are my refuge. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
