Always with You 

There goes a saying like this: “Sometimes the person who tries to keep everyone happy is the most lonely person.” Sometimes, you too would have observed that it is true. One day, a pious man called Sadhu Sundar Singh was travelling through the jungle. Suddenly, he became depressed with the thought, “If I were to die in this forest, is there anyone who would worry about me?” Precisely at that very moment, Jesus who knew what was on his mind, appeared and started walking along with Sundar Singh. After strolling for a short distance, He sat on a rock and started to converse with him. He consoled Sundar Singh saying, “My dear son! Why are you perplexed? I am with you.” Then He shared deep truths with Sundar Singh which delighted him. Sundar Singh made note of them in his diary; later he compiled and published them in the form of a book. 

Beloved! Everyone in this world longs for someone to care for them. They need a shoulder to lean on. Loneliness kills the heart. But, when you call upon the Lord Jesus, His love will delight you, dispel your anxieties and lead you into abundance of blessings. You will enjoy His indescribable peace and joy. Be delivered of this loneliness through His presence. Be a balm for somebody’s loneliness this day by bringing Jesus into their lives. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, though I am surrounded by many people I feel so lonely. Even now, come to me and let Your presence fill the void in my heart. Help me to abide in You always. Remove my loneliness and let my friendship with others remove the feelings of loneliness from their hearts. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
