Love endures all things. Love never ends. Love transforms even the hardest heart.
Mahatma Gandhi, during his lifetime, established the Sabarmati Ashram in India and lived there. One day, the news of some young men from that village committing acts of adultery reached the ears of Gandhiji. As he made further enquiries, none came forward to confess to this crime. So Mahatma Gandhi told the young men, “I am not going to punish any of you, but I will punish myself.” The young men in question felt great remorse and were heartbroken. They ran to Gandhiji, fell at his feet and confessed to him, “Sir, your love has broken our hearts. You should not be punished for our sin as we are the guilty ones. Please forgive us.” Thus, they repented and reformed themselves.
Even our Lord Jesus Christ took all your iniquities upon Himself on the cross, out of love for you. The blameless Holy Son of God was nailed to the cross, the tree of life. He patiently endured all His sufferings to liberate your soul from death and to give you life. Beloved, you are forgiven. Stop blaming yourself and others for past mistakes. Get rid of your guilty conscience. May His convicting power lead you to repentance.
Prayer
“Loving Father, I thank You for bearing all my sin and shame on the cross. I receive your forgiveness today. Help me not to feel guilty and may Your convicting power lead me to repentance. Thank You for Your love which lifts me from the miry clay. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
