She is Alive!

Smith Wigglesworth was a British evangelist through whom God performed great miracles in the nineteenth century. Once, he went to pray for a girl afflicted with tuberculosis. In those days, there was no medicine for tuberculosis. As soon as Wigglesworth started to pray, the girl died. The Devil came near him and said, “See, God waited till you came. But, as soon as you touched this girl, she died.” He was wondering about it and began to pray. The Holy Spirit reminded him of all the miracles in the Bible. So, he praised God saying, “Dear God, You parted the Red Sea. You gave manna for Your people.” He was filled with great joy. Moreover, he thanked God for all the blessings in his ministry too. As he was praising, he saw Jesus standing near the window. Rays of light came forth from Jesus. Those rays fell on that girl too. Lost in His presence, Smith Wigglesworth fell asleep. It was morning when he was awakened by a song being played on a piano. And when he moved towards it, he was shocked to see the girl playing the piano. Yes! God had raised her up from the dead!

Beloved, what do you think raised her from the dead? Praise! Yes, praising God made her come back to life. Is there anything literally dead in your life today? Do not be disheartened. Start praising God and thank Him for all the good things He has done so far. You will see every dead situation come back to life!

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You for who You are. You never change. I thank You for all Your blessings You have showered upon me till today. I bring my hopeless situation before You. I believe You alone for a miracle. I receive life into it. Thank You Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Blessing For Today

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work.  We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
