Blessing For Todayគំរូ

The Word Works!
There was a great man of God called George Muller. He had an orphanage with 2000 orphans. He was a man of faith. He would pray for the children and miraculously God would provide for their needs from, day to day. One morning, when all 2000 children sat at the breakfast table, there was no food. George Muller prayed claiming the promise in Philippians 4:19. He believed in his heart that God will surely meet all his needs according to His riches. At that time, a man came running with baskets of bread. Muller asked “Why have you come in running with bread?” That man said, “God woke me up at 2 a.m. in the morning to prepare these loaves of bread and give it to you. Please take it.” Muller was very happy and thanked God. But the children now needed some milk. Muller believed that God’s word will work for the milk too. Suddenly, a lorry carrying milk broke down in front of his orphanage. The mechanic told the driver to completely drain out the milk so that he could repair it. The lorry driver came to Muller and asked him to take the entire milk, free of cost. Muller was happy to receive the milk which was sufficient for all the children.
Yes! God provided more than what Muller expected! The same God is true to His word even today. Read the Bible every day. Claim the promises. His promises are “Yes and amen in Him.” His word will not fail without completing its purpose!
Prayer
“Loving Father, I thank You for this miracle that You performed in George Muller’s life. I praise You as You are the same yesterday, today and forever. I bring my needs to Your presence today. Bless me with abundant riches and fill my empty cart. I plead with You to reward my faith. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
