Delayed or Denied? 

Several years ago, the ‘Jesus Calls’ Prayer Festival was held in a particular city in India. I shared God’s word and finally when I prayed, the power of the Holy Spirit came down mightily and blessed many. The Lord mentioned the name of a particular person and said, “You are praying for your transfer. You will get your transfer. The Lord is going to do it very soon.” The same person came running to the stage and excitedly testified about how the Lord had promised to give him the desired transfer. Days and months passed. He did not get his transfer. Many of his friends mocked at him saying, “You shared your testimony, haven’t you still got your transfer?” His heart was broken. Shortly after, I received a letter from him saying, “Brother, I have not only got the transfer, but also a promotion.” 

Similarly, people may ask you, “Where is your God?” You may face failures, but the Lord will honour you by doubling the blessing in the same place where you were reproached. He will make you glad. Do not give up hope. His promises will come true in your life. Wait for your blessing because it will surely come. It has not been denied but only delayed for the better. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You for Your precious promises that You have granted in my life. I praise You for You are a faithful God who keeps Your word. Fill me with more faith to wait patiently for the appointed time of Your miracle. I thank You for doing it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
