Give Thanks

Paul and Silas, the servants of God, travelled around the world and preached the love of God. They cast out demons and healed the sick in the name of Jesus. But, some people, who were jealous, brought false accusations against them and they were thrown into the prison. They were unfazed because of their predicament and yet did not blame God. They praised and exalted God and supplicated their prayers with thanksgiving. As they praised God, the presence of God descended in to their prison cell. Immediately, the earth trembled and the foundations of the prison were shaken. Their chains were broken in a moment and they were all set free.

Similarly, you may be bound by the people in authority. You may be distressed because of the wrath of evil people and the hatred shown by your own family members. Let not your heart be troubled. Surrender everything at the feet of God. Dear friend, the Hamburger tastes extremely good and we love to eat it. In the same way, when you take your prayer requests to God with praises and thanksgiving, He would love its sweet fragrance and acknowledge your petitions. Your acclaiming of God’s glory will melt His heart. He will answer your requests immediately. So, seek Him with adoration and praise.

Prayer

“Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You for all the blessings that You have showered on me throughout my life. Strengthen me to supplicate my prayer requests with thanksgiving. Whatever may be the situation, help me to praise and exalt You. This I pray in Jesus’ glorious name, Amen.”

‘Offer your supplication with praise and thanksgiving’

Blessing For Today

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work.  We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
