Blessing For Todayគំរូ

Always on Duty
A Deputy Superintendent of Police who retired after his active service, settled down in another town. One day, while walking on the road, he happened to see a man running with a dagger in his hand to stab someone. None were able to rescue the poor man who was about to be stabbed. However, this retired police official ran forward and caught hold of the killer. Having been a policeman, his grip over that man was very tight. After a couple of minutes, a few other policemen rushed to the spot and nabbed the killer. Later, they asked the officer, “Sir, why did you take the trouble of catching this criminal alone and unarmed? Had he stabbed you, what would have happened to you?” Immediately he replied, “I am a retired police official but when I saw this man running with a dagger to stab someone, the spirit of a policeman surged within me and I firmly caught hold of this criminal.”
In the same way, my dear Friend, the Spirit of God is full of goodness. Whenever He sees His children suffering, His Spirit of goodness immediately comes to their aid. He wipes out the problem, chases the devil and thereby saves us from every attack confronting us. The God of Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers. He is always on guard watching over you, to deliver you from the snare of the devil.
Prayer
“Loving Lord, I thank You for speaking to me today through this word. Father, You are the Lord who never sleeps but always keeps an eye on me. Let Your grace fill me and deliver me from every evil snare. This I ask in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
‘He will turn every curse into blessing in your life’

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
