Blessing For Todayគំរូ

Everything for Good
William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army, was once preaching a sermon about the peace which the Lord gives. And suddenly a man interrupted him saying, “Sir, you will not be preaching about peace if you were in my place. Recently, I lost my wife and I miss her so much. Though I have buried her, I am unable to bury my sorrow. I am not at peace.” Few months later, the great man of God William Booth lost his beloved wife. He stood up in the same church and said, “Few months ago, when I preached about the peace of God, a man said that I will not be speaking about peace if I had lost my wife as he had. Let me tell you: Because I am in communion with the Lord, my heart is at peace. It doesn’t mean that I don’t miss my beloved wife. But still, the song of peace in my heart strengthens me.” When that man heard Booth speak, he came running to the stage and surrendered his life to God. With tears he said, “Now I believe you sir, Jesus is real. He is the Prince of Peace.”
Trials and tribulations may afflict us. But let us not lose our peace in God, because the Word says, “All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Though we may walk through the valley of tears, let us remember that the Lord who blesses us, is very near to us. Let not your heart be troubled!
Prayer
“Loving Heavenly Father, I come before Your wonderful presence and humble myself completely. Anoint me with the gifts and fruits of Your Holy Spirit. Help me to enjoy the peace that You only can give. Remove the complaining nature from within me. In the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.”
‘The Lord God will establish peace for you’

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
