Holy Walk with Christ 

My friend, our God is a God of Holiness. The Bible says that without holiness no one will be able to see the Lord. Yes, without holiness, you cannot have fellowship with God! Just as a friend loves another friend without hypocrisy, your life must be pure and holy to have fellowship with God. 

King David whom the Lord testified as a man after His own heart, cries out to Him “God! See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Though being a king, he lived a life that was pleasing to God. Every man who is born in this world is born in sin. That is what king David says, “I was brought forth in iniquity and in sin my mother conceived me.” Knowing this he pleads with God saying, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” He prays to God to make him holy so that he could be united with Him in spirit. 

My friend! In this treacherous world it is important to keep your heart and soul pure. When the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses and washes you, you become holy. This makes a way for you to have a closer walk with God. It also keeps you from falling into sin. Receive Jesus in your life. He will cleanse you with His blood and make you His own. Cry out for His grace to live a holy life. Thus you will be connected with God like David did. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I cry out to You to make me Holy. Wash and cleanse me with the blood of Jesus and help me to have a closer walk with You. Speak to me through Your word and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Unite my heart with Your heart and help me to live a life pleasing to You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”
