## DAY 1 A couple of weeks ago, our landlord reached out to me and told me that a very important letter for him was accidentally sent to our address. He asked me to write his address on the letter, and then post the letter back to him. I remember putting the letter in the letterbox reflecting on this simple moment. The content and value of the letter never changed, but the address did. When we look at the message of Jesus, it is the most valuable and important letter you will ever read and it is sent to our address by the Creator of heaven & earth. The book of Galatians encapsulates this compelling message of Jesus that is the Gospel. We understand grace deeper. We understand Jesus more. It is compelling, challenging, and inspiring. My hope and prayer is that through starting this 30-day journey through the book of Galatians, you will uncover a new depth of understanding and applying what the book of Galatians means for us and how incredible the message of Jesus truly is. Galatians is a controversial letter written to the Galatian church in 50AD. The church had devout Jews who strongly followed the law and believed that they were saved by doing good works and not by grace. They were convincing the Gentiles (non-Jews) to compromise what Paul taught them and believe these same things—that their ‘good works’ saved them, not grace. This sets the scene for an incredible, passionate letter to the Galatians about the true meaning of the Gospel. In writing this letter, Paul had grasped and received the depth and breadth of what grace is and how it is freely given to us through Jesus. This devotional is designed to be read after the passage each day. I want you to absorb as much as you can personally from the passage. And then together, we can unpack each thought and make it practical. My prayer is that by the end of this 30-day journey, you will love Jesus more & realise grace will truly change the pace of your life.
