God of Glory 

The glory of God is the beauty of His spirit. The Bible says that ‘The God of glory thunders over the waters. His voice makes a deer give birth.’ Yes, His glory emanates from His character. He is the Holy God and that is why He is so glorious. 

A weekly magazine wrote an article on people who had met with accidents, experienced death and had come back to life. When they interviewed such people, it was surprising to hear that everyone said the same thing. All of a sudden when they met with an accident, they felt their spirit going through a dark path filled with fear. And then it entered a bright place where a beam of light came from a bright person. Even as they were watching that person, He said, “Go back, your time has not yet come.” And then the spirit came back to the world. They all proclaimed, “He is full of glory and a great peace filled our hearts.” 

My friend, our God is a God of glory. When He is full of glory, will He not give this glory to His children? Surely, He will give you His glory as you imprint the beauty of His Spirit within you. He will never let you be ashamed in front of your enemies. So hold on to this glorious God. 

Prayer

“Loving glorious Lord, Your face shines radiantly forever. As I look up to You, let Your glory shine on me too. Cover me with Your light. Give me the grace to shine for You in this world. Use me as Your instrument. This I ask in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
