Wise Living 

The words of a wise man are like deep waters and well springs of wisdom. But, the words of a foolish man brings destruction; his lips are a snare of his soul. 

In Italy, there lived a rich man. He had a desire to be popular in spite of having everything in his life. He said that he wanted to experience death, so that he would be able to write a book based on his experience of death and everyone would come to know about it. So he took a pen in one hand and a bottle of poison in the other hand. He drunk the poison and started to write. But that very instant, he fell down dead. He had written only one line – “Everything is dark”. 

My friend, the foolishness of a man blinds his eyes. It only ends his life. God came to this world to give you life and for you to live a life that will be pleasing to Him and to reach eternity. Beloved, if you want to live a life that will be pleasing to Him and ultimately reach eternity, then ask God to give you the wisdom to live wisely in this world. Wisdom comes from God above and it takes you in the right path. 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, I thank You for the word that You have spoken to me today. In this evil world, it is so necessary to live a life, wisely. Lord, I pray for Your wisdom to fill me and guide me. Watch over my every move. Let Your Holy Spirit lead me in the path of eternity. This I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
