The Great Exchange 

In India, there is a research institute which manufactures vaccines. To manufacture vaccines, they inject disease causing virus into horses. Soon, these horses become sick and writhe in pain. During this time, the antibodies of that particular virus start developing in their bodies. These antibodies are extracted by scientists as vaccines. These vaccines are used to prevent diseases in human beings. 

The horse suffers from pain due to that virus. But antibodies are produced to save the lives of human beings. This is what happened on the cross. Jesus took the virus of sin upon Him and gave us the antidote of His righteousness. He took our sickness and gave us His healing. He took our poverty and gave us His riches. He became a curse for us and liberated us. What a great exchange it was that took place on the cross! Beloved, you are highly blessed. When you meditate on the cross it will bring copious blessings into your lives. Be aware of the great cross every moment. Let thoughts of the blessings earned on the cross flood your mind. Stay fresh and energetic all the time. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, thank You for loving me even when I was still a sinner. Thank You for suffering for me on the cross. I am so excited to possess all Your blessings, freely. I pray that I will not deviate from this great love, but stand strong with faith on this assurance. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
