Nobody to Somebody 

When we submit ourselves to God and meditate on His word day and night, He will lift us up. He will give us victory and change our status from being nobody to somebody. 

K.R. Narayanan born in a small village in Kerala, became the 10th President of India. Narayanan is the first president ever from the oppressed community of Dalits. After he had taken his Presidential post, he first visited his village. The people of that village were so excited to see the President of India. Till then, the small village had been unnoticed by the world but from the moment the President set foot there, the entire world turned back to look at the small village that had raised such a great leader. 

Yes my friend, this small village was lifted up by the presence of one of its own people. This is how the Lord will lift you up too. He will make the poor rich and lifts the lowly when you humble yourself before the Almighty. Today, you may feel that you are the least wanted in your family or among your friends. Do not worry! The Lord has promised you that He will strengthen you and make you rich and lift you up. Jesus will turn you from nobody to somebody. 

Prayer

“Lord God, thank You for the word of blessing You have spoken to me today. Father, I ask You in Jesus name to bless me that I may be a blessing to my community. Let Your love lift me up. I humble myself at Your throne. Amen.”
