Stored Up 

The Lord God Almighty is not only a just God but also a God of love and compassion. He collects our tears in bottles. Not one drop of our tear has been wasted. 

In those days, King Hezekiah was sick and nearing death. And Isaiah the prophet, went to him and said, “The Lord says, ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live’.” Hezekiah was so heart-broken and cried out to the Lord. He turned his face towards the wall and prayed to the Lord saying, “Remember me Lord. I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. God saw his tears and sent Isaiah back to him again. And this time the Lord spoke saying, “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you.” And Hezekiah lived for fifteen more years. 

Yes friend, your tears are never in vain. He counts your tears and weeps along with you. When Lazarus died, Jesus wept and those tears brought resurrection to Lazarus. Likewise, today you will receive the power of resurrection in you. In the presence of God, your tears have the power of resurrection. So, do not waste your time and tears, crying for unnecessary things. When you shed your tears before God, He will deliver you and defend you from your enemies. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I know that You have stored up all my tears which will never go in vain. You will always hear my tearful prayer, I thank You Lord. Let Your Holy Spirit comfort me through my storms. Lord, I believe, that You will never disown me. This I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
