The Reason You Were Created One of the boldest people we read about in the Bible would have to be King David. The tabernacle he built was unlike anything before it, and it brought in a brand new way of worship. Thousands of singers and musicians ministered day and night before the Lord; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. And they didn’t stop for 33 years! Many of the Psalms that we read in the Bible actually came from David’s tabernacle. God’s presence and glory brought transformation during that time to the nation of Israel as they experienced His favor and blessings in prosperity and military victories. The fervent and continual glorification of God in the tabernacle overflowed in the form of blessings to every other aspect of Israeli life. The same is applicable today! The passion of your spiritual worship and glorification of God will determine the level of your blessings in every area of your life. The Scriptures say, “...whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Cor. 10:31). The reason we were created is to give glory to our Creator, clinging to the promises of the blessings that will come to those who magnify His greatness with their lives. Give all praise and glory to Him today and expect His best blessings! Prayer for the day: Pray that God would show you how you can give glory to Him in everything you do. And pray that your worship will overflow into all other areas of your life!
