Day 3: Opening Spiritual Eyes
Reading: 2 Kings 6:8–17
Devotional: Elisha's servant woke up to find their city surrounded by enemy armies. Panic was the natural response — until Elisha prayed a simple prayer: "Lord, open his eyes that he may see." Suddenly, the servant saw the mountain covered with horses and chariots of fire. The spiritual reality surrounding them was far greater than the physical threat against them. We often live like that terrified servant, seeing only what opposes us while blind to what God has positioned around us. The battles you face aren't only physical or circumstantial — they are spiritual. And in the spiritual realm, those who are with you outnumber those against you. You are not as alone or as exposed as you feel. God's presence, power, and protection surround you even when your eyes can't see it. Today, make Elisha's prayer your own.
Reflection: Where have you been responding to fear when God may be inviting you to see something greater? Ask Him to open your eyes.
Prayer: Lord, open my eyes. I've been living by what I can see and forgetting what You've already placed around me. Calm my fear and expand my vision. Help me to trust the unseen reality more than the visible threat. You are with me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

About this Plan

The way you see your circumstances changes everything. This 5-day devotional challenges you to trade complaint for gratitude, fear for faith, and distraction for focus. From David facing Goliath to Peter walking on water, Scripture is full of people who had to choose what — and who — they would fix their eyes on. Each day you'll be invited to see your situation through a different lens: God's.
