Day 2: Giants or God's Opportunity

Reading: 1 Samuel 17:32–50

Devotional: The Israelite army and David stood on the same battlefield, stared at the same enemy, and came to completely different conclusions. The soldiers saw an unbeatable giant. David saw an opportunity to glorify God. The difference wasn't skill or size — it was perspective. David's confidence was built on history with God. He remembered the lion. He remembered the bear. He had proof that God shows up. Your giants are real — financial pressure, broken relationships, health crises, impossible situations. But they are not bigger than your God. The question was never whether you have the strength to defeat them. The question is whether you believe He does. Stop measuring your giants and start remembering your God. He who was faithful then will be faithful now.

Prayer: Lord, I've been staring at the giant instead of looking to You. Forgive me. Remind me of every time You showed up when I had nothing left. I choose today to believe that You are bigger than what I'm facing. Give me the courage to step forward. In Jesus' name, Amen.
