Devotional
Faith often carries a tension between waiting and moving, and both require trust.
At the Red Sea, the people were first told to stand still. Then came the moment where God said, move.
Faith is not only stillness, it is also obedience.
God did not remove the obstacle first. He made a way through it, and that way was revealed as they stepped forward.
Moses had to lift his staff. The people had to move. The miracle unfolded in their obedience.
We often wait for full clarity before taking a step, but God asks us to trust Him with what we have and move forward.
What looks like a barrier can become the pathway God uses.
Faith is not the absence of uncertainty; it is choosing to trust God within it.
As we respond to His voice, we position ourselves to see Him move.
Obedience opens the way for what only God can do.
Guided Prayer
Lord, give us courage to step forward in faith and obey Your voice. Strengthen us to trust You even when we do not see the full picture. Remove fear and lead us in the path You have prepared. We choose to move in faith today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
