SURRENDER AND TRUST
Devotional
There are moments in life where things feel beyond our control, uncertain, overwhelming, and unclear.
Our natural response is often to try and take control, fix it ourselves, or let fear lead.
But Scripture calls us to something different, to trust in the Lord with all our heart.
Surrender is not weakness. It is faith. It is choosing to trust that God sees what we cannot and knows what we do not.
When Moses stood before the Red Sea, he told the people to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stop striving and start trusting.
It is often at the point of surrender that we begin to see God move.
Surrender makes room for His power. It shifts our focus from what we cannot do to what He can.
As we trust Him, we discover that He is faithful, present, and leading us with wisdom.
Surrender is not weakness, it is the doorway to God’s power.
Guided Prayer
Father, we surrender our lives and our circumstances to You. Where fear has taken hold, replace it with faith. Teach us to trust You fully and to depend on You, not ourselves. Lead us in Your ways and make our paths clear. We place our trust in You today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
