FAITHFUL IN THE WAITING
Devotional
Much of life is lived in what feels like the waiting, where we long for answers, breakthroughs, clarity, or change. If we are honest, these seasons can feel uncertain and even discouraging.
We pray, we believe, we endure, and yet sometimes it feels like nothing is happening.
But Scripture reminds us clearly that God is never inactive, never distant, and never unaware. Even when we cannot see it, He is working. Even in the stillness, He is moving.
Isaiah points us to a truth we need to hold onto: God’s timing is not rushed or uncertain; it is perfectly aligned with His purposes.
Waiting is not wasted time. It is formative. It is where faith is deepened, trust is strengthened, and our dependence shifts from ourselves to Him.
The world pushes us to hurry and strive, but the Kingdom calls us to trust and remain.
Some of the most important spiritual work we will ever do is staying faithful when there is no visible progress, trusting that what feels like delay is often preparation.
God is shaping us in this season, aligning us in the process, and at the right time, He will move with purpose and power.
Our role is not to force the outcome, but to remain faithful.
What feels like delay is often God’s preparation for His timing.
Guided Prayer
Father, we bring our waiting before You and ask for grace to trust You more deeply. Strengthen our faith where it feels stretched, and remind us that You are always at work. Help us to wait with expectation, not frustration, and to remain steady in our trust. We surrender our timelines to You and declare that at the right time, You will move.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan

Join us for a 7-day prayer journey guiding us to prepare for God’s “suddenly” moments through our activities of unity, waiting, obedience, and faith. The Bible reminds us that while God may move in an instant, He forms us over time. Each day positions hearts to trust His timing, respond to His Spirit, and embrace the ongoing transformation He brings, shaping us into a people ready for His purposes and presence.
