Salvation Is Now

I often find myself pondering what it truly means to be saved. For many of us, our first thought is eternity – being rescued from sin, forgiven, and granted access to heaven. And while our eternal destination is of utmost importance, salvation is not only about what awaits us one day. It’s also about what we can experience today.

Isaiah reminds us that God Himself is our salvation, not just what He gives. Salvation is who He is. Salvation isn’t a future concept; it’s a present reality. In the person of Jesus, salvation has drawn near to us. He has become our strength in weakness and our song in sorrow.

This verse speaks into the moments you’re living right now. The uncertainty, the hardship, the waiting. Wherever you find yourself today, this truth still stands: the Lord has become your salvation. He is your steady strength when life feels too heavy. He is your song of victory when fear and discouragement try to take hold.

So pause for a moment. Declare this truth, out loud, over your life, over your child, over your circumstances:

‘God, You are my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid.’

As you lean into the strength and freedom Christ has already purchased for you on the Cross, fear begins to lose its grip. Anxiety yields to peace. Despair gives way to hope. Do not be afraid, friend. The Lord Himself, a living, present Saviour – has become your salvation right now. And that changes everything.
