Called to fight for others

Spiritual warfare is not only for ourselves. Through the sacrifice of Jesus, redemption, deliverance, freedom, peace, healing, and so much more are now available.

It has all been provided.
It has all been paid for.
It has all been finished.

For us—and for others.

Now Jesus wants us to go out and battle against the arrows of the devil.

He says:

“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
— Matthew 10:7–8 (NKJV)

And also:

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons… they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
— Mark 16:17–18 (NKJV)

We have not only received healing for our own bodies. We have also received a ministry—to go out in His Name and heal, to cast out demons, and to lay hands on the sick.

Jesus even says:

“He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do.”
— John 14:12 (NKJV)

We have been equipped for this.
We have been made competent for this.

Our competence is not from ourselves—God has made us competent:

“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant.”
— 2 Corinthians 3:4–6 (NKJV)

We have received the power of the Holy Spirit.
We carry resurrection power within us.
And we have the mighty Name of Jesus on our lips.

With that, we can enter the battle—for ourselves and for others.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You that You not only save me, but also send me. Use me to make Your Kingdom visible. Amen.
