Jehoshaphat’s Battle that Never Happened

Jehoshaphat’s Battle, described in 2 Chronicles 20, is a story where King Jehoshaphat of Judah faced a massive invading army of Moabites and Ammonites. Instead of fighting, Jehoshaphat led his people to seek God through fasting and prayer, receiving a prophecy that God would fight for them.

The miracle that God provided next is truly amazing: God commanded that singers and musicians be sent to the front of the army. As they praised God, the invaders inexplicably turned on and destroyed each other, leaving Judah to collect spoils without a fight, teaching a lesson about victory through worship and praise.
