The Year of the Courageous

DAY 13 OF 21

Courage to Forgive

Reflection:

Forgiveness is one of the purest forms of courage. It’s not weakness—it’s strength under control.

To forgive is to release the right to revenge. It’s choosing healing over hatred. The truth is, forgiveness doesn’t change the past, but it does change your future.

Unforgiveness binds you to what hurt you. It keeps you reliving the same wound in different seasons. When you forgive, you set yourself free.

God never asked you to minimize what happened; He asked you to maximize grace. He forgave you completely, knowing everything about you. That’s the same grace He asks you to extend.

Forgiveness takes time, but it starts with a decision. And that decision requires courage.

Prayer:

Lord, give me the strength to forgive. Heal the wounds I’ve carried and the bitterness I’ve hidden. Help me to release what hurt me and trust You to make it right. Amen.
