Jesus is the Way, Truth, and Life

Life can feel like a maze. Between work, relationships, constant decisions, and unmet expectations, it’s easy to feel lost. We crave clarity, yet so often we find ourselves surrounded by confusion.

For three years, the disciples had watched Jesus perform miracles, teach crowds, and challenge religious leaders. They had hoped to stand beside Him as His kingdom came to earth, but now, at their last meal together before Jesus’ death, He told them He was leaving to prepare a place for them.

They were worried, unsure what to do next — how could they follow Him if they didn’t know where He was going?

Thomas voiced their confusion, asking: "We don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"

Jesus’ answer changed everything: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” He met them in the middle of their uncertainty."

He wasn’t just showing them a path. He was the path. When life felt uncertain, He would be their truth. When fear and loss set in, He would be the strength that keeps them going.

Jesus invited the disciples to trust Him instead of fearing for their future without Him. Today, He offers this same hope and His presence to you.

When the future feels unclear, He invites you to follow His lead. When lies or confusion cloud your thoughts, you can anchor yourself in His truth. When you feel weary or alone, He is your life, strength, and peace.

He is not waiting for you at the end of your path. He is ready to walk with you through the maze, step by step.

"Thank You, Jesus, that You know what lies ahead. Thank You for being my way to the Father, my truth, and my life. Help me trust You even when I feel lost. Let me experience Your joy today and guide me to someone I can share Your truth with. Amen."

Now, put your faith into action

The first step to sharing Him with others is believing Him fully for yourself. On days when moving forward feels hard, reflect on the truth that He is the way, the truth, and the life. From that place of complete trust, allow Him to lead you to someone who needs to experience the peace that comes from depending on Him.
