Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart (2 Corinthians 4:1 NKJV).
Do you choose to be discouraged?
Life can be tough, and discouragement often seems inevitable. However, Paul reminds us that discouragement is a choice. Despite facing countless hardships, he relied on God’s grace to sustain him. “Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV).
Instead of letting difficulties get you down, remember that God’s grace is more than enough to carry you through. Every challenge is an opportunity to experience God's sustaining power. Choose to focus on His grace rather than your problems. By doing so, you’ll find renewed strength and hope amid adversity.
Employment Point: Receive God’s mercy and grace instead of discouragement.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
