Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them (Acts 13:2 NKJV).
To whom does God reveal His ways?
In Acts, a diverse group of Christians, including Barnabas and Paul, who receive direction from the Holy Spirit (Acts 13:2). It is the Holy Spirit who directs us and helps us know God personally. Our Father governs His children through the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
Today, during your devotions, pray that God will allow the Holy Spirit to illuminate His word so that you can understand the Scripture. Also, pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you as you go throughout your day.
Employment Point: Live a holy life to God and receive His guidance.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
